Urgent Medical Care

This technology is available in our clinics for rapid diagnosis of possible fractures, so treatment can be rendered without any delay.
Full Laboratory Services
Audiometry (hearing) testing, visual testing, pulmonary function, hepatitis B vaccination, TB, cholinesterase base line and drug screening are just a few of the laboratory services we offer to meet the needs of industrial workers and employees.
Comprehensive Drug Testing
Substance abuse is of increasing concern in the workplace. Drug users are almost 4 times more likely to be involved in a plant accident and 5 times as likely to file a Worker’s Compensation Claim. We offer urine drug screens with or without alcohol, NIDA drug screens (truck driver requirement), drug testing through hair analysis and Evidential Breath Alcohol Testing (EBT). We are also a collection site for urine drug screens.
Random Drug & Alcohol Testing Consortium
U.S. Department of Transportation requires all drivers who have a current commercial driver’s license to be part of a random drug and alcohol testing program. We are the largest provider of consortium services in Tulare County. We also have two Certified Medical Review Officers (M.R.O.) on staff.
Occupational Health Monitoring
Cholinesterase and bromide testing for pesticide applicators; lead and heavy metal levels.
Agility Testing & Training Program
To promote safe work behaviors, to demonstrate and allow the employee to perform proper work techniques; to promote “preventative medicine”.
Pulmonary Function Testing
OSHA required medical assessment and spirometry for respirator use; computerized reporting that meets OSHA/NIOSH standards.
Vision and Hearing Screening
Complete vision testing available; comprehensive audiometric testing within a sound proof booth.
EKG with complete interpretations.
An on-site pharmacy is available for convenient dispensing of medications to patients. Our on-site pharmacy prevents unnecessary delays, so your employee can return to work as quickly as possible.
Supervisor Training Class
U.S. Dept. of Transportation in compliance with Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) have required all driver supervisors to take a mandatory controlled substance and alcohol abuse training class. Training includes the physical, behavioral, speech and performance indicators of probable alcohol misuse and use of controlled substances. Valley Industrial & Family Medical Group is the only facility in Tulare County to offer this federally mandated class. We are enrolling now.
